This project was a part of an elective course in retail design. The assignment was to create an event in the city of Kolding that would appeal to the target group "young people / students" and at the same time offer possibilities for advertising for the shops in the city union.
The event is a "bingo" event, where the player gets a bingo plate and a beer for a very low price and the prizes are sponsored by the different shops.
The project was made in a group of four, where I had the responsibility for the the graphic design and communication.
Since the advertising had to be hung up in different universities and schools, my focus was to make the posters stand out and be visually appealing. I worked with a sharp red contrasted by a light turquoise.
This project led to one of the group members getting an internship planning the event. It was held on the 5th of may 2019 and more than 200 people attended the event. It was a huge succes for the City Shopping Union.
